What does a public adjuster do?
A public adjuster works only for you, the policyholder — never for the insurance company. We document your loss, prepare the repair estimate, file the claim, and negotiate directly with your carrier to pursue the full settlement your policy owes.
What does it cost to hire GB Claims?
There is no upfront fee on public adjusting claims. We are paid a percentage of the settlement we recover for you, so we only get paid when you do.
Which states do you serve?
We are licensed public adjusters in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. Independent auto damage appraisals are available in New York.
What types of property damage do you handle?
Fire and smoke, burglary and theft, water and flood, storm and wind, and other perils covered under your property insurance policy.
My claim was already denied or underpaid. Can you still help?
Yes. Many clients come to us after a denial or a lowball offer. We re-document the loss, rebuild the estimate, and reopen the claim with the carrier.
How long does a property claim take?
Straightforward claims can settle in a few weeks. Large or disputed losses take longer. We give you a realistic timeline after the first inspection and keep you updated throughout.
